Therapy for Adults in Alberta
Struggling in your relationships? Feeling anxious, shut down, or stuck in old patterns? You’re not alone — and it doesn’t have to stay this way.

I work with adults across Alberta who are dealing with relationship struggles, emotional overwhelm, and long-standing patterns rooted in attachment wounds. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, or difficulties with self-worth, therapy can help you understand what’s going on underneath — and finally start to feel better.

What I Help With
Some of the most common issues I support clients with include:

Anxiety and panic attacks
Depression and low self-esteem
Relationship issues and attachment challenges
Childhood trauma and abuse (emotional, physical, or sexual)
Grief and loss
Addictions and compulsive behaviours
Disordered eating
Phobias and intense fear responses

These symptoms often stem from unhealed emotional pain — pain that never had the chance to be safely seen or understood. In therapy, we slow things down, get curious together, and begin healing at the root.

How I Work
I don’t believe in quick fixes or surface-level strategies. My approach is personalized, collaborative, and focused on helping you create deep, lasting change.

Attachment-Based Therapy

We explore how your early relationships shaped your attachment style and influenced how you show up in adult relationships. Understanding these patterns helps you shift them — so you can feel more secure, connected, and confident.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is a powerful model for understanding your inner world. You’ll learn to connect with different “parts” of yourself — like the anxious part, the angry part, or the one that feels not good enough — so they can begin to heal, instead of taking over.

Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

Together, we tune into emotions that may have been pushed down or avoided, helping you move through pain rather than stay stuck in it.

Mindfulness-Based Practices

These simple, body-based tools help you become more aware of what’s going on internally, create calm, and respond rather than react.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

We use practical tools to identify unhelpful thinking patterns and gently shift them — helping you respond in ways that align with who you really are.

Therapy Fees

Psychological services with a Registered Psychologist in Alberta are often covered through extended health insurance or benefits provided by your workplace. Please check with your provider to see what your plan includes.
